THE HANSON BOWMEN ARCHERY CLUB 

 Hanson  is  a  unique  club  based  mainly  in  Derby, As archers,
we have a reputation as a supportive friendly and active group of friends. 
Hanson members come from many different walks of life, But
we are all united in our passion for archery,
All members are actively encouraged and supported by each other.
Being a part of Hanson has been likened to being a part of an extended family, and our membership has a high proportion of families within it. 
we celebrate our passion on and off the course
We have an excellant framework of ongoing support for archers from beginner upwards.

 What is a Hanson

A noisy crowd they cheer and shout
and sometimes they’re a drunken lout
A fool a clown they like a joke
and some of them will even smoke

But scratch the surface just a bit
you’ll find a cheerful friendly wit
A very close supportive crowd
does it really matter if their loud

Their attitude is second to none
they’re happy if they’ve lost or won
So to those who criticise and jeer
bring your ear plugs and let them cheer

And to Hanson’s one and all
be proud to be Hanson’s and stand tall
We like the Hanson’s full of fun
